Charlotte Sweeney

Charlotte Sweeney OBE has specialised in Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) for nearly 20 years and was recognised by The Economist and The Daily Telegraph as one of the Top 10 D&I Professional Consultancies in the world.  She runs a consultancy specialising in D&I strategy and their effective and sustainable implementation. Her clients include many global companies and gained much of her global experience leading D&I in a number of companies in both Retail and Investment Banking (Barclays, Barclays Capital, HBOS and Nomura) as well as holding a number of Non-Executive and Deputy Chair role in companies as well as within the NHS. 

In 2014 she authored an independent review for the UK Government Secretary of State Dr. Vince Cable on Women on Boards and Executive Search Firms and is the co-author of the recent Financial Times published book ‘Inclusive Leadership – the definitive guide to developing and executing an impactful Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, locally and globally’, which was shortlisted for Management Book of the Year by The Chartered Management Institute (CMI) in 2018.

She was recognised in the New Years Honours 2017 list with Officers of the British Empire (OBE) for her services to Women and Equalities.

Maddie Vining

Maddie Vining. Senior AV Technician, Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street. With over six years experience in conferencing and meeting technology, she strives to achieve the optimum user experience utilising the best tech tools available. The 1 Wimpole Street AV Team have been named ‘Best In-House AV Team’ at 2013 AV Awards, ‘Most Innovative and Tech Friendly Venue’ at 2016 Event Technology Awards, ‘In-House AV Team of the year’ at the 2017 Install Awards and ‘best in-house technology’ at the 2017 Academic venue awards. Maddie also received the individual accolade of ‘Rising Star’at the 2016 Install Awards. As well as being responsible for tech support for 700+ meetings and events at the venue a year, Maddie is also very active in the wider AV community, and is involved with the AVIXA Women UK Council, as well as keeping her finger on the pulse of the latest technology trends by regularly participating in AV User Group and Women in AV meetings and many other AV industry events and training courses.

Martha Zantides

Martha Zantides –AV/IT Project Manager, Twisted Pair. Martha is a familiar face on the AV circuit, ISE, the AVUG, WAVE, a judge at the AV Awards and occasional contributor to AV Magazine and its Roundtable events.  She first came into the industry in 2009/10 from IT where she has had a number of roles from Programming, Systems Management, Service Delivery and Project Management.  Her initial involvement in AV was as part of her Project Management/Service Advisor role at KPMG where she worked closely with IT Technical Architects, AV Consultants, Integrators and other AV partners to produce high level AV Standards and Design Guidelines for KPMG, AV Specifications for Major Capital Projects, testing, commissioning and sign-off.  She has now gone from Gamekeeper to Poacher and has just started a role as Project Manager for a Technology Services company called Twisted Pair.
